When you buy one of our Party Boxes, you are helping to give a birthday party to children in need! We currently work with two local organizations that service at-risk youth in the South Florida community. See more information on these organizations below:
Through the FLITE Center and the community agencies we partner with, teens entering early adulthood will learn the practical skills they need as they set out on their own. We offer a place for them to bond with others making the same transition. And we provide essential support as they take on adult responsibilities and begin building their lives as productive members of the community.
The FLITE Center, supported by a coalition of service providers, is a central resource for youth that prepares them to lead successful lives after aging out of foster care.
HANDY annually serves more than 1,300 at-risk children who participate in comprehensive programs that focus on education, youth development, and economic self-sufficiency.
- Children and youth ages birth to 23 years, who have been removed from their homes due to domestic violence, substance abuse, physical and / or sexual abuse, and abandonment. - Care to avoid them from entering the Dependency System.
- Older youth who are aging out of the Foster/Relative Care System.
- Youth who may be homeless or on the verge of homelessness.
